Biography
Marissa A. Johnson is a partner in the firm’s general corporate group, practicing across Pearlman & Miranda’s New York and New Jersey offices. She advises clients on sophisticated regional and cross-border matters, with an emphasis on public finance, project finance, energy law, and startup and technology law. Marissa represents municipalities, state agencies, and private entities in financings involving infrastructure, clean energy, and economic development, and also counsels emerging companies and startups in the technology sector on corporate structuring, governance, and financing.
Before joining Pearlman & Miranda, Marissa practiced at a prominent New York law firm, where she advised underwriters, public companies, and financial institutions on mergers and acquisitions, private placements, IPOs, and securities law compliance. Her experience spans high-value transactions ranging from $100 million to over $1 billion across industries including healthcare, clean energy, manufacturing, logistics, and emerging technology.
Marissa is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and is also a non-practicing solicitor in England and Wales.
